We are a team made of not one, but two schools. Our team originates from the Willoughby-Eastlake school district, being the schools Willoughby South and Eastlake North.
Our team began in 2024 after a former FLL member was looking for a robotics team to join. After realising that Eastlake was without a robotics team, he reached out to our current coach, Chris Tomb. Realizing that Eastlake would not provide enough players for its own team, he reached out to his former FLL coach, Eric Wernet. Once he heard about the situation, Mr. Wernet reached out to former FLL members, providing the offer to join and create the joint school team. Since then, we have gained four members since last year and are planning on growing even futher.
We are always looking to get more members on our team, so if you're interested in joining the team, make sure to check the "Contact" page located at the top of this page and email our coach.
Being only a second-year team, we have successfully made it to the OHIO state championship both years, won the judges' choice award in our first year, and so far this year, our team has won two different finalist awards, and the Think Award.
